TACOMA OPERA ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS
FOR OUR UPCOMING 2024/25 SEASON


PRODUCTIONS INCLUDE:

1.    TURANDOT
2.    DEAD MAN WALKING
3.    GIANNI SCHICCI (This is a dinner and opera production. During dinner, arias will be sung with orchestra. After dinner, a fully staged Gianni Schicchi will be offered) Working Title, “Pasta and Puccini”

Due to the number of auditioners last season (over 300) we are instituting a two-round audition system. 

ALL AUDITIONS ARE DUE IN BY JAN 20, at 12 noon. NO LATE AUDITIONS WILL BE LOOKED AT.

Live callbacks will then be scheduled from the online applicants. You will be asked to prepare a specific aria at that time. Complete rehearsal schedules will be sent prior to in-person auditions.  Contracts will be sent following the live auditions.

In some cases, a full-season contract
may be offered.

Artists must be available and agreeable to the rehearsal schedule prior to signing contracts.
