ALBERICH - Peter Morgan, whose meteoric rise in Wagner repertoire has established him as one of today's most sought-after bass-baritones in this demanding repertoire. Recently acclaimed in Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, and Götterdämmerung with The Lyric Opera of Kansas City and West Edge Opera, Mr. Morgan returns to this signature role with commanding authority and has been celebrated by Opera News as an "excellent and exciting bass-baritone."

FRICKA - Kristin Vogel, acclaimed for her powerful lyric voice, dramatic intensity, and well-honed vocal technique. Ms. Vogel splits her time between Seattle and Vienna, Austria, and has been honored in multiple international competitions. She is currently releasing a Verismo album with the Bratislava Symphony on the ARIA Classics label and performs regularly in Vienna's prestigious venues.

FAFNER - Gary Jankowski, joining us directly from Europe, where he serves as Professor of Voice at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. His distinguished international career has taken him to opera houses in Paris, Chicago, Nuremberg, Warsaw, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City, with particular expertise in German repertoire. He is featured in the ECHO Klassik prize-winning Ring productions and brings unparalleled Wagner authority to this role.

LOGE - Brendan Tuohy, internationally acclaimed American tenor, praised for his "big, bold tenor edged with silver." His impressive Wagner repertoire includes performances with the Houston Grand Opera and Cincinnati Opera, as well as significant European experience at the Berlin Opera Academy, Opéra Orchestre National de Montpellier, and the Royal Opera of Versailles.

DONNER - Suchan Kim, a distinguished Korean baritone recognized for his warm lyric voice and dynamic stage presence. A native of Busan with degrees from Korea National University of Arts and Mannes College, he has appeared with Opera Philadelphia, Atlanta Opera, Opera Grand Rapids, and Carnegie Hall. Praised by The New York Times for his "focused, muscular baritone," Mr. Kim brings international artistry to Tacoma Opera.

FROH - Stephen Rumph, veteran tenor with extensive Tacoma Opera credits including Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Danilo (The Merry Widow), and Rodolfo (La Bohème). He appears frequently in concert with major symphonies, including Tacoma, Bozeman, and Spokane. He serves as chair of music history at the University of Washington, having just edited The Cambridge Companion to French Art Song.

FREIA - Sarah Fletcher, distinguished spinto soprano with roles including Vitellia (La Clemenza di Tito), Dido (Dido & Aeneas), and Suor Angelica. She has performed with the Seattle Opera iand will debut the role of Maria Callas this December in the West Coast Premiere of La Callas.

FLOSSHILDE - Soon Cho, lyric mezzo-soprano, praised by Opera News for her "potent" and "intense and incisive" stage presence. Her international career spans Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America, including prestigious festivals such as the Beaune International Baroque Festival, Ghent New Music Festival, and Puccini Festival in Italy. She has collaborated with leading orchestras, including the Cincinnati Symphony and Honolulu Symphony.

WELLGUNDE - Julie van de Grift, accomplished soprano with extensive operatic experience, including Die Walküre, Die Zauberflöte, and Rigoletto. She performed as a soloist throughout Philadelphia before relocating to the Seattle area and holds an MM from SUNY Binghamton.

ERDA - Rachelle Moss, accomplished mezzo-soprano with recent roles including Marquise de Birkenfeld (La Fille du Régiment), Amneris (Aida), and Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera). She has performed with Seattle Opera, Sarasota Opera, St. Pete Opera, and is an active concert soloist with Federal Way Symphony.
